Okay, I have been seeing numerous attacks on Edward "Teddy" Kennedy in recent times, many from activists upset with his endorsement of Barack Obama in the Democratic Primary. I have seen many comments accusing him of being bad on women's issues because of this essentially non-endorsement of Hillary Clinton. I even saw one comment claiming that he was against these issues simply because he didn't mention them in his endorsement (which was an endorsement of Barack Obama, not a discussion on abortion, people). I'm sorry, but regardless of your partisan affiliation in this Primary, this is simply untrue, and I just want to put a stop to this once and for all. Here are the national rankings from several Interest groups relating to women's issues. These have all been taken straight from Project Vote Smart, a non-partisan website: http://www.vote-smart.org/issue_rating_c ategory.php?can_id=53305
Hey, I have been getting a little depressed about the situation in Connecticut lately, and I decided to look back in the my diaries to see if I could find something to cheer me up. Several weeks ago I wrote this diary, and I find it scarily relevent even today. Thus, I have decided to repost it, unedited, and I'd like to know if it helps any of you out, as it has helped me:
Over the last few days I have seen a very interesting change in the attitude amongst the Netroots. Several days ago, there was a post about the Connecticut Senate Race, and in the comment section everyone was supportive of Ned. Everyone was optimistic that he was going to win. If anyone doubted they were immediately called a troll.
But, lately, the opposite seems to be happening. Except for a few like psifighter, most commenters seem to be much less enusiastic about the race. Almost all comments are negative, and almost no one gets labeled a troll or even countered anymore. Even I have mentioned some distress over it and gotten into a slight tussle with Matt (sorry for that by the way, I shouldn't have exaggerated like that). The truth is, I like many others have become a bit disillusioned with the campaign, with the endless polls showing Lamont either falling (Rasmussen) or stagnant (SUSA). Even the better ones (UConn) have him outside of the MOE. But, today, I have made a revelation, and I would like to ask you to read it below the fold.
Hello, this is a letter for all people who are on the ground in Conneticut. What I want is an honest response; no rhetoric, no assumptions, just what you honestly believe. This is not meant to be negative, only as a way for me to get some basic idea of what is happening in Connecticut.

Ok, I am starting to get a little worried about the Lamont Lieberman race. I asked a bit back what was going on, and why we were losing the momentum, and I was told that it was because we had taken a month off.
Ok, here is my problem. When the Primary was coming up, Ned Lamont started doing amazing, and everywhere I kept hearing that if he won the Primary there was a good chance he was gonna win the Senate seat. As well, I saw tons of information on the Senate race, and he kept doing better in the polls.
In a striking set of events, the popular liberal website "MyDD" has begun to act slowly, at some points not even loading up at all! Liberal Blogger Matt Stoller has claimed that the Lieberman campaign has been hacking the website.

Now, in the comments section to one of the main posts, someone asked why the Jewish vote seemed to be going to Lamont. Well, from the perspective of a very liberal (I consider myself a Social Democrat [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Demo crat] in the European sense) Reform Jew.
